Start with a clean face and prepare the skin with a facial oil or serum.
For the face roller :
Start in the middle of the face and roll outward over the cheeks.
Go up to the eyebrows and roll up on the forehead.
Pass under the lower lip and roll down on the chin.
For the Gua Sha tool
Hold the tool flat against the face and start with the forehead. Scratch upward from the eyebrows to the hairline.
Go up to the cheeks and scratch outward from the fold of the nose to the ear.
Go to the jaw line and use the end of the gua sha tool with both curves.
Start with the chin and scratch up to the ear. Gently massage the gua sha tool into the ear to release tension.
For the area under the eye, very gently scrape the gua sha from the inner corner of the eye outward to the temple. As this area is very sensitive, it is important to apply only light pressure.
