Gua sha has been practiced in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Perfected over the centuries, this pink quartz gua sha tool has been designed to have a firming and lifting effect on the skin.
In addition to improving the general health and radiance of the skin, gua sha has a multitude of benefits.
Start with a clean face and prepare the skin with a facial oil or serum.
Hold the tool flat against the face and start with the forehead. Rub in an upward motion from the eyebrows to the hairline.
Go up to the cheeks and rub outward starting from the fold of the nose to the ear.
Go to the jaw line and use the end of the gua sha tool with both curves. Start at the chin and rub up to the ear.
Gently massage the gua sha tool into the ear to release tension.
For the area under the eye, very gently rub the gua sha from the inner corner of the eye outward to the temple. As this area is very sensitive, it is important to apply only light pressure.
